Assemblages
This series is an attempt to add 'spirit' to objects that have served their initial purpose. Seeing many decent conditioned objects go to waste, I wanted to attempt giving them another life and extend their time around humans.
Doodled on used take away coffee cups assembled in various styles.
Door knob, toothbrushes, wire, paper clips.
Permanent glue, ink bottle, guitar strings and thread.
USB card reader, skateboard wheels, earphone buds, broken glass, skateboard truck wrapped in cloth, cardboard box.

Slinky, nailcutter, shell, pen refill, negative film, plastic forks, toothbrushes, watch strap, zipties.
The most interesting part of this series was the visibly strong character in each object used. It is difficult to visually detach the objects used from the how the final sculpture looks, representing a sort of honesty. Also the very fun and problem solving game that was the process of assembling things that are not supposed to fit together.
